Team Headshots at Sunset: RDU Therapy at Lake Crabtree
In late June, I had the pleasure of photographing the amazing team from RDU Therapy during an outdoor headshot session at Lake Crabtree County Park in Morrisville, NC. We met up on a warm Friday evening just before sunset, when the light is soft and flattering. The setting sun gave us beautiful golden-hour light, and the team showed up ready to go: relaxed, kind, and full of energy.
What I loved most about this session was how easy it felt. These are professionals who truly care about the people they serve, and that warmth came through in every shot. Whether we were photographing them individually or together as a team, the connection between them was obvious.
Melanie, Kim, Sara, and Leah were looking for updated headshots that felt natural, professional, and reflective of the supportive work they do in the mental health space.
Even their therapy dog, Doc, joined us for the shoot and made a few guest appearances. He kept things playful and added a little extra personality to the session.
